Why has this been introduced ?There are obvious benefits in reducing CO2 emissions, improving air quality and more vehicles on the road with improved safety features. The government has also introduced the scrappage scheme so car manufacturers would see the UK as a country prepared to take positive action and continue to build cars here. This scheme will also help secure many thousands jobs within parts and distribution companies. |
